Textile wallpapers

Textile wallpaper is an extraordinary special variant of wall decor, which is chosen to create spectacular luxurious interiors. In the decor, textile wallpaper creates a high aesthetic of design and is worthy of truly individual interiors. Such wallpapers do not just "paint" the walls, with the help of them you can create real design projects with draperies, cascades, use other incredible techniques that are not available to "simple" wallpapers at all. If your interior requires the expression of a special personality, consider which wallpaper samples are most suitable for you.

Textile wallpaper has quite a lot of varieties that depend on the base material used and the decorative coating. The basis of textile wallpaper can be of three variants. The first is synthetic, which uses the finest material such as foam rubber. The advantages of the base are a light noise-absorbing and heat-insulating property, a strong attachment to the wall. The second is a non-woven base, which is characterized by the ease of the pasting procedure, has no shrinkage, additional impregnation. The third is a paper base, the advantage of which is to highlight an environmentally friendly material.

The decorative coating of textile wallpaper is the very chic and charm for which such wallpaper should be preferred over all others. Both natural and synthetic materials with all their advantages and disadvantages are used for coatings.

In the modern assortment of textile wallpaper, linen samples come out on top in popularity. As an independent material, linen fabric is not used in such wallpaper, or is used extremely rarely (due to the difficulties of pasting), options are presented with the application of linen threads in the form of patterns, including imitating woven.

Silk wallpaper uses a mixed fabric of silk and viscose threads, so that such wallpaper is elastic and durable. As in the case of linen samples, silk coating is not a woven surface, but the application of threads in the form of a woven material. Silk wallpaper, like silk itself, is somewhat capricious – it is a thin, delicate material that will require an exceptionally smooth wall surface. Such wallpaper dries longer, it will require skills in gluing, but the result is a spectacular gloss of decorated walls worth some effort.

The wallpapers that are offered under the name felt can be of two variants. The first is the use of real felt with its spectacular cozy texture as a decorative coating, the second option is the imitation of felt with foamed propylene. Both options look decent and outstanding and both have an important advantage – they are able to hide quite serious irregularities of the wall surface.

Velour and jacquard wallpapers have an incredible number of varieties (due to the variety of textures). They use natural fibers inherent in these fabrics as a decorative coating, which completely repeat the texture of the materials. These are quite luxurious types of wallpaper that allow you to set the tone of refined luxury in the room.

Jute wallpapers have a special charisma – they are made of natural jute fibers (there are also variants of artificial analogues) and have an expressive natural texture. This kind of textile wallpaper will successfully emphasize the originality of the country style, express the spectacular decor in a country house.
